After reading Pete the Cat and the Perfect Pizza Party, Mrs. Mofield’s class made their own perfect pizzas! The book was a donation from Economics Arkansas.

IT’S GAMEDAY and your Colts will make the short trip to Gosnell to battle it out against the Pirates in an important 4A-3 conference showdown.
Currently, 3 teams from the 4A-3 conference are in a 3-way tie for second place and Rivercrest and Gosnell are two of those teams. The third team is Blytheville who was upended by Gosnell last week 26-20. With that win, the Pirates improved to 6-1 overall and 3-1 in conference. The Colts scored early and often last week on their way to a 57-28 rout over Highland. Rivercrest is now 4-3 and 3-1 in conference.
For the Pirates, senior QB Reid Shelton has completed 61.8% of his passes for 1,099 yards and 11TDs. Most of those have gone to junior wideout Cam Williams who leads all of 4A with 687 receiving yards and has 8TDs. Big 6’4” 245lb senior tight end Taderian Partee has hauled in 11 passes for 258yds and 7TDs. Senior running back Floyd Williams has rushed for 692yds and 12TDs. Williams will line up some at QB and is considered one of the top defensive backs in the state. Williams ran a 4.4 forty at one of the camps he attended and has multiple D1 offers. On defense, LB Mason Moore leads Gosnell and the state in tackles with 105. Partee has notched 81 tackles & 8 sacks, and LB Sid Lara has 71 tackles.
For your Colts, sophomore QB Cavonta Washington has completed 74.1% of his passes for 913yds and 12TDs. Junior WR Michael Rainer has 27 catches for 517yds and a 4A-leading 9TD receptions. Senior Jaden Stovall has 21 catches for 207yds and 3 scores. Junior RB Koby Turner has rushed for 759yds and 14TDs and is averaging 9.6 yards/carry. On defense, Marcus Slatyon has tallied 85 tackles & 16TFL; Wyatt Lancaster has 67 tackles, 15 TFL, 10 QB hurries, and 6 sacks; and Trent Kimbrough has 60 tackles, 18 TFL, and 2.5 sacks.
Rivercrest leads the all-time series 19-12-2, but at Gosnell, the series stands at an even 7-7-2. Make your way to Gosnell tonight to cheer on the red and gray. GO COLTS!
