Rivercrest robotics competed in VEX Robotics Competition in Jonesboro and Russellville this weekend. During the Russellville competition, Arianna, Libby, and Kimberly made it to the alliance matches. Jeremiah made it to the alliance matches and quarter finals. He finished in 4th place overall. Team members were Amarice Bell, Joshua Sanchez, Jeremiah Hodges, Arianna Woods, Libby Vinson, and Kimberly Sanchez.

RJHS eighth graders capped off a cross-curricular Black History Month project by viewing the film "Hidden Figures". The film celebrates the contributions of African American female mathematicians to NASA's space program. Students participated in projects in science, math, and history that focused on these contributions.
