The Rivercrest School District will hold a public hearing on Thursday, August 11 at 5:30 pm in the Jr High School Library. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the application for a Conversion Charter School which will be referred to as Rivercrest Jr High Prep Academy. Your input as parents , teachers, and community members is valued as we explore new opportunities for our students.

Join Mr. Durham and Mr. Isom at the Luxora Elementary Cafeteria on Thursday, July 28 from 9 am - 12 pm for fun with drums! This will be our last summer learning day at Luxora. We hope to see you there!

Preregistration for new students will be held Wednesday, August 3 from 8:30 am - 3 pm. K-6 students will register in the elementary counselor's office. 7-12 students will register in the junior high counselor's office. This is for any student who was not enrolled at Rivercrest on the last day of the 2021-22 school year. In order to enroll your student, you will need the following items: -Birth Certificate -Shot Record -Social Security Card -Two Proofs of Residency (actual bill showing physical address: rent, utilities, etc. School choice students are not required to provide proof of residency.) -Name and address of school last attended -Physical (Pre-K/Kindergarten students)

Rivercrest Golf is gearing up for the 2022 season and will tee off in competitive action on August 1 at Sage Meadows.

Arkansas PBS has educational and engaging activities lined up for children around the state to learn new skills and participate in fun content each day with the "Rise and Shine" summer learning series. A group of all-star Arkansas teachers will share mini-lessons in literacy, math, science and social studies to help kids in kindergarten through 5th grade continue learning between school years. This six-week program is available free of charge on television, online, and through streaming devices weekdays - July 5-Aug. 12, 8:30-11:30 a.m.

The Osceola Health Department will offer two immunization clinics on July 8 & 29 from 8:00am-4:30pm. Please call the health department at 870-563-2521 to schedule an appointment.

7th & 8th Summer Enrichment - Seventh and eighth grade students are invited to join us this summer for opportunities to explore the Mississippi River and the Delta. This summer, the students at RJHS have an opportunity to learn about the culture, history, celebrities, and legends surrounding the Mighty Mississippi and the Delta. Come participate in this wonderful opportunity to learn about our area and how it came to be as we know it today! Breakfast, lunch, and bus transportation are provided. Report cards for students in grades 7-12 can be picked up in the high school and junior high offices next week. Offices will be open Tuesday, May 31 through Thursday, June 2 from 8:00 am until 3:00 pm. Report cards are also available online on HAC (Home Access Center).
