Rivercrest School District continues its Rivercrest Reads initiative with the book The Lemonade Wars by Jacqueline Davies. This book is also part of the district's Alternate Method of Instruction (AMI) Plan.

  • No School January 18 - AMI Day

    Information pertaining to AMI assignments (days 2-4) can be found here:  AMI Assignments
     

    • Students have five days to complete assignments after returning to school.
    •  
    • Grades 7-12 classes utilize Google Classroom. All assignments will flow through that. Since FlexMod schedules are designed so that students do not attend each class every day, students are expected to work on assignments for classes that they would have attended on the day that school is out.
    •  
    • Grades PreK-6 sent home an AMI packet with each student. Some of those packets contained assignments for one day, while others contained multi-days.

  • Alternative Method of Instruction (AMI) Replaces Snow Day

    The Rivercrest School District has been approved to participate in a plan to provide an Alternate Method of Instruction to replace up to five (5) snow days for the 2017-2018 school year.  This means that when a “snow day” is called, students will be provided with school assignments to complete on that day.

  • ACT - Attention Parents of Juniors

    Juniors have an opportunity to take the ACT exam free of charge at Rivercrest on March 6. If you do not want your student to take the ACT, you can complete a waiver. If you have questions, please contact Mrs. Lee Ann Graham, RHS Counselor (leeann.graham@smccolts.com).
